I think it makes a good case for Christianity being more aligned with anarchy than other forms of governance, but it was a bit weak in historical knowledge about biblical texts.

This attitude supposes further that technique evolves with some end in view, and crkstianismo this end is human good. Clive Staples Lewis Technique is totally irrelevant to this notion and pursues no end, professed or unprofessed. What we have in mind is the attitude that conscientous objectors take on a anaruqia point, and not without good reason. But fllul is short, and universally recognized as an important work on the subject.

Mostly, this will be a good resource for interpretation of Christian’s relationship to power. This is self-evident and I am in full agreement. Or one can blindly insist, as Ellul does, that we should not exercise dominion and violent judgment because God doesn’t; he is a God of love, not wrath, a God who never wishes to be called Lord or Master; and we should imitate him. By anarchy I mean first an absolute rejection of violence.

Just consider, for example, that atrocious excuse… It was one of the most horrible things I have ever heard. I liked this book, not because it said good things, but because it talked about something important.
He even wastes a few pages on anti-vaccination garbage. With such a blatant title, the book does not limit itself and touches various components to the Christian faith and life.
That said,he does respond to a number of standard objections and misconceptions, in a somewhat helpful way.
We have to say here very forcefully that we see here the perversion of revelation by participation in politics, by the seeking of power.
My recommendation for this book is nearly urgent for all Christians should pick it up and read it, whereas anyone else in today’s society would only find room to mock it for absurdities that don’t impress their stubbornness.

Propaganda tries to surround man by all possible routes in the realm of feelings as well as ideas, by playing on his will or on his needs, through his conscious and his unconscious, assailing him in both his private and his public life. It is great acquiescence to the temptation Jesus himself resisted, for when Satan offers to give him all the kingdoms of the earth, Jesus refuses, but the church accepts. The point is not to enforce a particular view of society but to establish a counterbalance, a protest, a sign of cleavage.
There are different forms of anarchy and different currents in it. No present-day authority can claim to be instructed by God, for all authority is set in the framework of a totalitarian state.
