I’m inclined to think it is and I like the way it is organized but I’m adound an expert and am wary of learning from an unorthodox source. It’s a learning tool to help quickly define the mode, not primarily a melodic tool as far as I can tell, or as far as Walt ever explained it to me. I tried working out of waot a few times but never understood the application to real life playing so I always gave up on it.
