Posted December 27, Certainly, with its super-continental hives and eradication of natural landscape, Malfi resembles a Segmentum Solar hiveworld far more than any of the other worlds in the sector, and its claim for capital eminence seems reasonable. But just because the Warp is loosely aligned with the Materium doesn’t mean the directions can’t go wonky on a smaller scale after all, the distances totally do go wonky.
Conquered by Lord Militant Angevin a thousand years ago, the Calixis Sector contains many heavily populated and important worlds, though it lies a great distance from the Imperium’s heartland. The hive world of Scintillasituated in the Golgenna Secctor sub-sector, is the capital of the Calixis Sector.
However, the Calixian Conclave, led by Lord Inquisitor Caidin, is the true ultimate authority in the sector, a clandestine and all-powerful presence behind the visible emblems and figureheads of Sectlr power. The Calixis Sector is located in the Segmentum Obscuruson the northern edge of the known galaxy near the Eye of Calidisand represents a portion of the considerable territories conquered by the Imperial Lord Militant Angevin almost two thousand Terran years ago in the 39th Millennium during the Angevin Crusade.

Ooh I found the older campaign map. Worst of all, the heat is relentless, easily hot enough to kill those not adapted to it. The sector is relatively young, having been hewn from the xenos-haunted Calyx Expanse around two thousand years ago by the blood and toil of the armies of Lord Militant Angevin. Sometimes, disorder and civil unrest lead to nothing and, for all the portents and cues, the Tyrant Star never actually appears, though this may be because it has manifested in a way that is hard to detect.
