Another amazing chapter in the saga of the Gaunt and the Ghosts. This time, it’s the other way around. A number of them go as far as committing crime to amuse themselves. From the very beginning, I was hooked by the story it can sometimes take a couple of chapters for me to become truly taken with Black Library releasesand abneth plotting is expertly crafted for maximum effect.

Nothing new to say about Abnett’s work, I go in expecting something familiar, and sure the cast is there, but adventure is again, new fresh, and attention grabbing, and since pacr 12th book in the series i think its an amazing plus.

Probably the weakest in the abnftt series while at the same time still entertaining enough. Refresh and try again. The novel has a more thriller-feel to it, as he slowly unravels the story for the reader.

After a calm, intriguing opening it quickly turns into a breathless, gripping story that keeps you turning the page, desperate to find out what happens.

Yes, there were references to what has happened in the past, but Dan Abnett has managed to tell blopd focused stand-alone story here that was easy to follow and extremely enjoyable.
