The characters in this book were divided into two groups, one for ‘those people are FREAKS’, and another for ‘this is a perfectly normal way to live’.
Enjoyed reading the book. He doesn’t know anything about her secret hunger to be mastered, but he’s about to find out. I hate predictable books.
Reviewed By Beckie Bookworm https: Cole loves Alex and Alex loves Cole but both keep things underwrap until they are able to see that they can truely trust each other in private matters, the way they do in their public personas. Very realistic view of sex and all of the pitfalls. Seems like if you’re reading this kind of book, you want to just enjoy the fantasy – we don’t need half a book of lecture about it.
She and her partner Cole, must find him or she’ll pay for her Dangerous Cravings with her life. She uses a pen name, and so do the other women in this story that the killer is after, who share the same desires as Alex.
Can Alex hold on to her secret while being forced to play out her most private fantasies with her partner?
Dangerous Cravings would have been way better if the serial killer aspect would have been deemphazised. At first the constant shift in POV disturbed my reading but then it efangeline overturned by the exiting plot and I didn’t notice it anymore. There were a couple of times, especially with the Mistress, that I didn’t think things played out in a realistic manner. Off duty, however, she explores her darker side through her highly erotic novels of bondage and submission.
I thought this was a really good book. Alex is as tough as nails in her job as detective. This book spends a lot of time going over the two lead characters feelings and reactions to BDSM, parts of this was ok but it got old after a while.
