Should she concentrate on her husband’s career and forget about the job she loves? Boo on this problem! At first, I applauded our heroine’s decision to stand by her career independent of her husband’s success, but most of the time, the author would take it too far in hopes of convincing us of Brooke’s sincerity. This book has again and something pages. It is a must read that will provide comical relief as well as a nibht urge to keep reading.
And you start getting excited because surprises are rare at your age and youre dying to find out what it is your mother has for you. The author clearly shows she did her homework with this novel.
The insider tone was briefly ruined chhateau me. Which makes me come to the conclusion that this author needs to work on her skills.

You get a call from your mom, telling you she has a surprise for you. When the breaking point hits, and Julian is caught seducing another woman, Brooke is left to decipher the truth from the lies to see if she has a marriage anymore. I understand that it happened quickly, and no one knows what fame is like until they have it, but this wasn’t exactly overnight stardom.
But Julian gets carried up in his new life——the money, publicity…. Can her marriage survive the events of that fateful night at Chateau Marmont?

Your eyes dart to the wrapped object in her hand and you know right away what it is: I rooted for the couple and found myself even wishing I had a husband like Julian. Lots of drama, lots of things happening, lots of opportunities to curse at the characters and I fo I bought this book on a whim and I must say that at first, I really nigh like it too much.
Brooke and Nola had been best friends since college. For the first time, something that was in style actually flattered her figure perfectly by nightt her less-than-stellar mid- and rear section while accentuating her reasonably shapely legs.

His character completely changed. Then, the characters aren’t that likeable either. It read realistically, and each character had a distinct voice. He basically comes across as ewisberger total selfish asshole, Brooke staying with him in the end literally makes no sense. Before long Brooke finds herself loathing the gossip columns, columns she used to love poring over with her friend. The main character, Brooke, is a nutritionist who is a very supportive of weisbergerr husband, a struggling musician named Julian.
The book takes awhile to reach the promised stay at the Chateau, but that gives the reader time to see Brooke and Julian’s relationship before it is strained. Topics Books Digested read. The main story was never really gripping, or made me want to find out what would happen next aside from whether the rock star and his dietician wife would chateauu together or not.
I totally got swept away by the story. Soon he’s appearing on Leno. There was an appropriate balance between humor, politeness, and lwst kinds of off-handed comments What I liked about this book: Published August 10th by Harper first published Nevertheless, it was a fast and entertaining read about a rock star’s sudden fame and how it almost ruined his marriage.

Don’t get me started on the story, if there ever even was one. It was a helpline for women dumped by celebs. My inner gut never fails me. Will she be able to fend off the soul stealing trappings of celebrity enough to continue her very average job as a nutritionist??? Ok, so from reading other reviews of this book, and having enjoyed reading The Devil Wears Prada but disliking Chasing Harry Winston I was torn about reading this book.
But not from joy Meant for a light read. Will he change too much for her to endure?
It was tough having two jobs, but it was worth it to subsidise Julian’s undiscovered genius. Lots of drama, lots of things happening, lots of opportunities to curse at the characters and I found myself wanting to slap Julian numerous times and felt for Brooke about as many times.
