Graphic novel fans won’t be drawn into the series from this book, and readers of the series will find an angsty romantic graphic novel that lacks any real drama. I picked this up at work when I happened across it while shelving and, feeling nostalgic, I started reading it on my srolarz.

Stacey’s nightmares are back. It’s a nice little add-on to the four novels, but not a great story on its own. Laurie Faria Stolarz Massachusetts has a great interest in teen culture, and admires young adults for their passion, energy, and creativity. And all she wants to do is go to Colorado and work things out with Jacob, who hasn’t been able to remember her since he lost his memory in his brush with death. I was glad to see closure for the characters and us, the audience. And I love the ending! However, plotwise there really wasn’t much excitement, there is a thin story line with Stacey’s dreams but mostly it all boils down to the relationship between Stacey and Jacob. This book could have easily been a novella or even a new novel with more details.

I beginningss so much more from her. I looked at the author’s website and she indiciated that she wasn’t sure how many books would be in the collection. I was feeling upset, anger, and happiness.

It was a quick read, just not very exciting. This was a very bare-bones story that did little to further the story, it just gave a sort-of conclusion to Stacey and Jacob’s relationship. I just feel it is an unnecessary addition to a very good series. Maybe her publishers told her to do it?
