However, it turns out that she is very adept at Charter magic and has the ability learn quickly and perform marvellous feats which most others cannot.

Also, this book had no real ending. Specific settings of the book carry emotion that is felt by the characters and readers alike. As the story continued, however, I liked her. Then it ambled gart and licked the petrified girl on the face with a tongue that most definitely was all real and not some Charter-made illusion. One person found this bix. In some ways – and this doesn’t happen often – I was ok with the moments when I didn’t like the characters because a they were still surrounded by a great deal of power and gagth it made them more human.

For centuries, the royalty justly ruled the Old Kingdom from their palace at the capital Belisaere as powerful upholders of the peace, until their fall by the hands of Kerrigor, or Prince Rogirek nicknamed Rogir, a rogue member of the royal family who killed his sisters and mother to use their blood to break the Great Charter Stones.
